A:
ACACIA GUM - From several species, notably Acacia arabica, the gum of an African
tree used for the soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, and as an emulsifying
and thickening ingredient.
ACETIC ACID - A natural acid from apple vinegar. Very small amounts are used
for pH balancing where pH must remain low in exfoliation products.
ALGAE EXTRACT- An extract blend of seaweeds including kelp, bladderwrack, agar,
and Irish Moss. Seaweed extracts are soothing and softening to the skin and
provide smoothness to creams and lotions.
ALLANTOIN - A soothing and healing agent found in comfrey and borage plants
that stimulates the growth of healthy tissue.
ALMOND GLYCERIDE - A very emollient glycerin compound from almond oil provides
softness and texture to the skin.
ALMOND MEAL - A very fine micro-pulverized almond powder, excellent as a skin
polishing agent for cell smoothness and softness.
ALOE VERA - The juice or gel from the inner part of the leaf of the aloe plant
has great moisturizing and refreshing properties for the skin. Aloe Vera contains
complex amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes beneficial for skin rejuvenation.
APRICOT KERNEL OIL - The cold pressed oil from the seed kernel of the Prunus
armeniaca tree has great skin emollient properties and contains linoliec and
oliec acids compatible to the skin. Especially valuable for softening and conditioning
rough cellular structures.
APPLE EXTRACT - A thick syrup reduced from organic Gravenstein apples containing
essential alpha hydroxy fruit acids for use as an exfoliation ingredient.
APPLE JUICE - Cold pressed organic apple juice from the tree Malus pumilis var.
Gravenstein containing rich fruit acids used as an exfoliation ingredient.
APPLE PECTIN - An extracted component of apple juice used as a soothing and
calming ingredient in the Alpha Enzyme Peel, and as an enzyme booster for exfoliation.
ASCORBYL PALMITATE - An oil stable salt of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) especially
valuable as an antioxidant, free radical fighter, and cell builder.
B:
BORAGE OIL - Cold pressed oil from the seeds of the plant Borago officinalis.
The oil is very high in gamma linoleic acid, GLA, known to have strong antioxidant
and protective qualities for the health of the skin.
BOSWELLIA OLIBANUM ESSENTIAL OIL - The essential oil of the Boswellia carterii
plant of the Somalian desert, used as a cellular toner, tissue protector, and
complexion toner. Protects against fine lines, wrinkles and cell deterioration,
and preserves cell structure.
BULGARIAN ROSEWATER - The hydrosol of the distillation of the rose variety,
Rosa damascena, cultivated for centuries for the beauty and freshness it provides,
especially to skin tone.
BURDOCK ROOT EXTRACT -The extract of the root of the Arctium Lappa plant is
known as a detoxifying agent and a complexion refiner
